It is our pleasure to invite International Umpires (IU) of your Association to officiate at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
We are pleased to invite National Associations to nominate a maximum of 2 International Umpires (IU) to officiate at this event. However, if one nomination is female, a further name may be submitted. Only nominations approved and submitted by the National Association by the deadline will be considered.
Preference will be given to Blue Badge and Blue Badge in Progress umpires, especially those with previous Para table tennis umpiring experience.
This is an open invitation and therefore not all nominated umpires may be accepted.
Transport from the umpire’s airport of departure to Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, Jakarta (CGK) will be provided by the organisers. All invited umpires must organise their own travel and medical insurance. The Organiser offers free hospitality in a twin room sharing with another umpire from lunch on Thursday, October 4th to breakfast on Sunday, October 14th, as well as local transportation from and to the airport. Each umpire will receive a per diem per day according to the Games’ regulations.
Please submit your completed nomination form (attached) no later than Thursday, 16th August, via email to: ttammalaysia@gmail.com with copy to Mr. Lee Yock Chin (leeyockchin@gmail.com). The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before Saturday, 27th August 2018.
Please ensure that the IUs bring with them the recommended ITTF IU uniform as described in the Handbook for Match Officials.
