Invitation to umpire in Darwin

Deadline: Monday, 28th January 2019

Dear Friends

Table Tennis Australia is organising the 2019 Australian Junior and Cadet Open and ITTF Oceania is organising the Oceania PTT Open in Darwin, Australia from 28 April to 4 May, 2019.

We are pleased to invite Oceania Umpires to officiate at this event. Associations are requested to nominate a maximum of 2 umpires. This is an open invitation and therefore not all nominated umpires may be accepted. Only nominations submitted by Associations by the deadline will be considered. The names of those umpires accepted will be sent to you by no later than 8 February, 2019.

Should your nominated umpire need a visa, please send us the relevant details when submitting your nomination (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, date of expiry of passport). We will issue an invitation letter for your umpire. As these events are being hosted as a part of the Arafura Games, there will be no visa cost. Please note that the consulate will issue visas in its sole discretion.

All invited umpires must organise their own transportation to Darwin, Australia, as well as travel and medical insurance. The Organiser offers free hospitality in a twin room sharing with another umpire from dinner on Saturday 27 April until breakfast on Sunday 5 May, 2019, as well as transportation from and to Darwin Airport. Each umpire will receive a per diem of A$35.00 per competition day (local currency).

Please ensure that the umpires bring with them the recommended uniform.

Please submit your nominations to TTAM via email (ttammalaysia@gmail.com), copy to State TTA (State endorsement required), Mr. Lee Su Hau (a_lee438@yahoo.com) and Ms. Corrine Wong (corrinewcc@gmail.com) no later than 28 January 2019. Please use the attached nomination form.

Thank you for your support.
