Dear Friends,
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of 2021 ITTF Pan American Championships invites International Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming 2021 ITTF Pan American Championships in Lima, PER.
Table Tennis will commence on Saturday 13 November 2021 and conclude on Friday 19 November 2021.
This is an open invitation, and only online nominations submitted by bona fide National Associations will be considered, not all submissions may be accepted.
ACCOMMODATION
Full hospitality will be provided in a single room from lunch on 12 November to breakfast on 20 November or the specified day of departure.
TRANSPORTATION
All invited umpires must organize their own transport to the Event. Local transport will be provided from and to Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM). In addition, all invited umpires are responsible for early arrival and late departure.
COVID TESTING + PROTOCOLS
All umpires are required to undertake their own PCR testing through an approved testing centre in their place of residence prior to arrival at the event as follows:
One (1) PCR test within 72 hours of arrival at the event
The LOC will reimburse the cost of PCR testing up to EUR 85 (USD 100) per test.
If a pre-departure Covid-19 PCR test is needed prior departure from PERU, the cost will be covered by the LOC.
Any umpire that tests positive will be isolated. The umpire will be released from isolation based on the decision of the local health authority and is responsible for any costs associated. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

ENTRY and VISAS

VISAS: Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details when submitting the nomination (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport) to manger2502@hotmail.com. A letter of invitation will be provided. Please note that all costs associated with the visa application are the responsibility of the applicant and the issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Consulate or Embassy.
OFFICIATING FEES
The daily officiating fee shall be:
- Blue Badge: 40USD
- White Badge: 35USD
- National: 30USD
Officials will have their fees paid by the LOC via either cash or bank transfer.
The closing date for nominations is 11 October 2021 at 4.00 pm. Please complete the nomination form and email to TTAM (ttammalaysia@gmail.com), copy to State TTA (State endorsement required), Mr. Lee Su Hau (a_lee438@yahoo.com) and Ms. Corrine Wong (corrinewcc@gmail.com). The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before 16 October 2021.
