The organiser of the 2021 Asian and World Olympic Qualification Tournament and WTT Middle East Hub invites 10 International Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament, World Singles Olympic Qualification Tournament, WTT Contender and WTT Star Contender in Doha, Qatar.
Table Tennis will commence on 3rd March 2021 and conclude on 19th March.
It is an open invitation, therefore not all submissions may be accepted.
Only online nominations submitted by bona fide National Associations will be considered; preference will be given to Blue Badge and Blue Badge in Progress Umpires. A maximum of two nominees is permitted.
Full hospitality will be provided in a single room from dinner on 27th February to breakfast on 20th March.
The organiser will provide economy class air passage for all invited umpires to Hamad International Airport, as well as travel and medical insurance. Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, PCR tests will be conducted and undergo an express quarantine of 48 hours. Any person returning with a positive PCR test will undergo 1-week quarantine with expenses covered by WTT/ITTF.
Umpires are required to make their own arrangements for pre-departure COVID-19 tests according to airline requirements if required at their own expense.
Performance Assessment for Blue Badge will be conducted, but Evaluations for Blue Badge in Progress Umpires will not be conducted.
The closing date for nominations is 25 January 2021 @ 2.00 pm. The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before 02 February 2021.
