Dear Friends,
The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Corporation (B2022) cordially invites your association to nominate up to three International Umpires for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Birmingham, England from 28th July to 8th August 2022.
You may nominate any active blue badge or blue badge in progress umpire. As it is CGF and ITTF policy to encourage female participation whenever possible, please encourage your female umpires to seriously consider applying for this prestigious assignment. If you nominate two or three umpires, at least one must be female.
As there are only a limited number of positions available, unfortunately not all nominated umpires will be accepted. Those nominated, but not selected, will be placed on a reserve list and may be invited later, if a selected umpire withdraws. Preference will be given to umpires from countries participating in the Table Tennis competition.
B2022 will provide officials with a uniform (jacket, dress shirt, dress pants and tie). Full details of arrival and departure requirements, and any other necessary information, will be given in due course.
The 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham will be a showcase event in a showcase city. Those nominated and selected to work this at event will leave with lifelong memories, and a higher level of confidence in their ability to officiate at any future event.

Late submissions will not be considered.
B2022 will confirm the selection of those nominated by each association by January 31, 2022.
