Due to COVID-19 precautions, all participants of the Championships including umpires are required to satisfy the COVID-19 regulations of the government of Qatar. In case a pre-departure Covid-19 test is needed prior departure from Doha, the cost will be covered by own participants. An umpire tested positive will be in isolation until he/she is tested negative and will be released of isolation. The umpire is responsible for all the costs associated to the isolation.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details when submitting the nomination with full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport. A letter of invitation will be provided upon confirmation. All Umpires are expected to arrive sufficiently early to attend the Referee Briefing planned for the evening of Friday 6th January 2023.
This is an open invitation to all member Associations of the ATTU and therefore not all nominated umpires may be accepted.
