Dear Friends,
Japan Table Tennis Association (JTTA), in cooperation with its Para Japan Open Organizing Committee, is going to host “KINOSHITA Group ITTF Japan Para Open 2023” in Tokyo from 30th August to 2nd September 2023.
We are pleased to invite a total of twelve (12) overseas International Umpires (IU) to officiate at this event. We cordially invite your Association to nominate a maximum of two (2) IUs.
Hospitality
Hospitality is offered from dinner on Tuesday 29th August till breakfast on Sunday 3rd September 2023. Each umpire will receive a daily allowance by LOC per competition day, according to ITTF rules:
Blue Badge Umpires: 65 USD
Blue Badge Umpires in Progress: 40 USD
White Badge Umpires: 40 USD
National Umpires: 35 USD
In case there is a day off, LOC shall pay 50% of the daily allowance.
Local Transport
Local Transport will be provided from / to Haneda (HND) / Narita (NRT) International Airport to Official Hotel. All invited umpires must organize their own transport to Haneda or Narita Airport as well as travel and medical insurance.
Visa Application
Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send scan of passport. A letter of invitation will be provided. Please note that all costs associated with the visa application are the responsibility of the applicant and the issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Consulate or Embassy
Please complete the nomination form by no later than 14th July 2023 @ 2.00 pm. Late submissions will not be considered.
