The Local Organizer Committee (LOC) of WTT Events 2024 in Doha, invites International Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming WTT Star Contender 08 – 13 January and WTT Contender 14 – 20 January 2024
It is an open invitation, therefore not all submissions may be accepted.
Only online nominations submitted by bona fide National Associations will be considered
Full hospitality will be provided from dinner on the day before the WTT Star Contender event starts, to breakfast on the day after the duty ends.
LOC will cover the cost of your return economy airfare inclusive of 1 piece of checked baggage up to 500 USD
A copy of the receipt + ticket issued by the airline must be provided to LOC upon arrival.
Travel and medical insurance are recommended and are at your own cost.
In addition, all invited umpires are responsible for early arrival and late departure. Local transport will be provided from and to Hamad International Airport.
An umpire who tests positive will be in isolation according to the local Laws. The umpire is responsible for all the costs associated to the isolation. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details after the selection (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport) to qtta@yahoo.com. A letter of invitation will be provided. Please note that all costs associated with the visa application are the responsibility of LOC and the issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Consulate or Embassy.

Gold Badge Umpires: 105 USD
Blue Badge Umpires: 85 USD
Blue Badge Umpires in Progress: 60 USD
White Badge Umpires: 60 USD
National Umpires: 50 USD
The day of your arrival, one day before the start of the competition,50% of the daily allowance will be paid. In case of a day off, WTT shall pay 50% of the daily allowance
Applications are accepted for both events
The closing date for applications is 9th November 2023 @ 2.00 pm. The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before 17 November 2023.
