Dear Colleagues,
The Local Organizer Committee (LOC) of WTT Star Contender Lanzhou 2024 invites International Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming WTT Star Contender in Lanzhou, China.
The event will commence on 16 September and will conclude on 22 September 2024.
It is an open invitation, therefore not all submissions may be accepted.
Only online nominations submitted by bona fide National Associations will be considered. Every Member Association can apply for max. 1 umpire. Full hospitality will be provided in double room from dinner on day before the event starts to breakfast on day after the duty ends.
The cost of your return economy airfare inclusive of 1 piece of checked baggage up to 500 USD will be covered.
A copy of the receipt + ticket issued by the airline must be provided upon arrival.
Travel and medical insurance are recommended and are at your own cost.
In addition, all invited umpires are responsible for early arrival and late departure. Local transport will be provided from and to Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport ( LHW).
Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details after the selection (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport) to Bellamy LIU, 773553909@qq.com. A letter of invitation will be provided.
Each foreign umpire will receive daily allowance by WTT, per competition day
Gold Badge Umpires: 130 USD
Blue Badge Umpires: 105 USD
Blue Badge Umpires in Progress: 70 USD
White Badge Umpires: 70 USD
In case of day off the umpire shall receive 50% of the daily allowance.
Foreign umpires will receive 50% of the daily allowance for the day prior the competition starting day.
The closing date for nominations is 02 August 2024 @ 2.00 pm. The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before 08 August 2024.
