The Local Organizer Committee (LOC) of WTT Youth Contender Puerto Princesa invites International and National Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming
WTT Youth Contender Puerto Princesa, Philippines .
The event will commence on 29th April and will conclude on 05th May 2024.
It is an open invitation; therefore, not all submissions may be accepted.
Only online nominations submitted by bona fide National Associations will be considered.
On 28th April 2024 at 5:00 pm, just before the umpire’s briefing, ITTF URC in cooperation with LOC will offer an Advanced Rules Exam (ARE).
Advanced Umpires Training ( AUT) will take place in online sessions
(2 sessions of 3 hours) on the :
13th of April and 20th of April
and one on-site session during the event on the 28th April 2024.
During the event evaluations will take place.
Candidates, who are interested in AUT and ARE have to inform -additionally to the online nomination- ITTF URC via email: urc@ittf.com and cc to TTAM (ttammalaysia@gmail.com)
Full hospitality will be provided in double rooms from dinner on the day before the event starts to breakfast on the day after the event ends.
All invited umpires must organize their own transport to the region as well as travel and medical insurance. In addition, all invited umpires are responsible for early arrival and late departure. Local transport will be provided from and to the Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS).
Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details after the selection (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport to Rachel DL Ramos at raechramos@gmail.com with a copy of the passport and ID photo. A letter of invitation will be provided. Please note that all costs associated with the visa application are the responsibility of the applicant and the issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Consulate or Embassy.
Each umpire will receive daily allowance by LOC, per competition day:
Gold Badge Umpires: 65 USD
Blue Badge Umpires: 65 USD
Blue Badge Umpires in Progress: 60 USD
White Badge Umpires: 60 USD
National Umpires: 45 USD
In case of day off the LOC shall pay 50% of the daily allowance
The closing date for nominations is 19th February 2024. The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before 09th March 2024.
