The Local Organizer Committee (LOC) of WTT Youth Contender Vientiane invites International and National Umpires to officiate at the forthcoming WTT Youth Contender Vientiane, Laos.
The event will commence on 20th September and will conclude on 23rd September 2023.
It is an open invitation; therefore, not all submissions may be accepted.
Only online nominations submitted by bona fide National Associations will be considered; preference will be given to young umpires.
Full hospitality will be provided in double rooms from dinner on day before the event starts to breakfast on day after the event ends.
All invited umpires must organize their own transport to the region as well as travel and medical insurance. In addition, all invited umpires are responsible for early arrival and late departure. Local transport will be provided from and to the Wattay International Airport.
An umpire tested positive will be in isolation according to the local Laws. The umpire is responsible for all the costs associated to the isolation. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Should a nominated umpire require a visa, kindly send relevant details when submitting the nomination to (full name as in passport, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, expiry date of passport) to TTAM with a copy of the passport and ID photo. A letter of invitation will be provided. Please note that all costs associated with the visa application are the responsibility of the applicant and the issuance of a visa is at the sole discretion of the relevant Consulate or Embassy.
Each umpire will receive daily allowance by LOC, per competition day:
Blue Badge Umpires: 50 USD
Blue Badge Umpires in Progress: 45 USD
White Badge Umpires: 45 USD
National Umpires: 35 USD
In case of day off the LOC shall pay 50% of the daily allowance
The closing date for nominations is 17th July 2023 @ 2.00 pm. The list of umpires accepted will be advised on or before 24th July 2023.
